Acceptable Use Policy

Why this matters

Voxio Studio is a powerful AI tool. We trust our users to use it responsibly. This policy tells you exactly what is — and is not — acceptable. We enforce it strictly.

Strictly prohibited content

You may not use Voxio Studio to generate, distribute, or attempt to generate any content that:

• Impersonates real people — including public figures, celebrities, politicians, or private individuals — without their explicit, verifiable, written consent. This applies to voice clones, AI-generated speech, songs, and any output that imitates a real person's voice or likeness.
• Sexual content involving minors, or any content that sexually exploits, endangers, or harms children. This is a hard line — we report violations to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and law enforcement.
• Non-consensual intimate or sexual content of real people ("deepfake porn," revenge content, sexualized voice clones of identifiable individuals).
• Voice clones of identifiable third parties, even if not sexual — unless you can prove documented written consent from the person whose voice is being cloned.
• Content that incites violence, terrorism, harassment, hate, or discrimination against any individual or group based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristic.
• Misinformation designed to deceive in ways that could affect elections, public health, financial markets, or public safety. This includes fake political endorsements, fake news clips, and fraudulent emergency announcements.
• Fraud, scams, phishing, or social engineering — including voice-cloned audio used to impersonate someone to extract money, credentials, or information from others.
• Defamation, harassment, or doxxing of any individual.
• Content that infringes intellectual property — including unauthorized covers of copyrighted songs, derivative works that violate trademark or copyright, or content that mimics a specific copyrighted style closely enough to constitute infringement.
• Violation of privacy or publicity rights under any applicable law.

Voice cloning — consent is mandatory

Our voice cloning feature is designed for cloning your own voice or voices you have explicit permission to use. By submitting a voice sample for cloning, you represent and warrant that:

• The voice in the sample is your own, OR you have obtained explicit, written consent from the person whose voice it is;
• You will not use the resulting voice clone to impersonate the source person in any deceptive context;
• You will retain documentation of consent for at least 7 years and provide it to us within 5 business days upon request.

We treat voice samples as biometric data and protect them accordingly. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Platform abuse

You may not:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code or underlying AI models of the Service;
• Scrape, automate, or programmatically access the Service outside of our public APIs (if available);
• Resell access to the Service, share credentials, or operate the Service on behalf of unauthorized third parties;
• Circumvent usage limits, rate limits, or paywalls;
• Use the Service to train or fine-tune competing AI models;
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service, servers, or networks.

Reporting violations

If you see content generated using Voxio Studio that violates this policy — or if your voice or likeness has been used without your consent — report it via contact@voxiostudio.com. Include:

• A description of the violating content and where it appears;
• If the issue involves your voice or likeness: proof of your identity (e.g., a recent photo with the date written);
• Any evidence supporting the report.

We review reports within 48 hours. Confirmed violations result in immediate content removal, account suspension, and — for serious violations — reporting to law enforcement and content takedown across distribution platforms.

DMCA — copyright complaints

If you believe content generated through our Service infringes your copyright, send a DMCA notice to contact@voxiostudio.com with: (1) your contact info and signature; (2) identification of the copyrighted work; (3) identification of the infringing material with enough detail to locate it; (4) a statement made under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized; (5) a statement that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to act for the copyright owner.

Consequences of violations

Depending on severity, we may: (a) remove the violating content; (b) issue a warning; (c) suspend the account temporarily; (d) terminate the account permanently with no refund; (e) report to law enforcement; (f) cooperate with civil claims by affected parties. Repeat or severe violations result in permanent ban.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the AI landscape and laws evolve. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
